Sun Damage, Who?
LUMECCA IPL
Lumecca is your skin’s reset button. This powerful IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment targets sun spots, age spots, redness, and uneven tone- leaving your skin brighter, clearer, and basically glowing like you’ve been drinking green juice and getting 10 hours of sleep.
BENEFITS OF LUMECCA
(aka the ultimate skin tone tune-up)
-
Lumecca uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to break up pigmentation from sun exposure, leaving your skin clearer and more even-toned.
-
Say goodbye to stubborn redness, rosacea, and visible veins-especially on the cheeks and nose.
-
The light energy revs up collagen production and brings that fresh, healthy glow to the surface.
-
Think smoother, more radiant skin with fewer distractions from discoloration and texture.
-
Most sessions take 20-30 minutes and you can go right back to your day-just with a little extra SPF.
-
You’ll notice brighter, more even skin after just one treatment, with optimal results after a series.
-
Anywhere you’ve got sun damage or discoloration, Lumecca can help restore that youthful, even look.
-
Combine with microneedling, PRP, or peels for the ultimate glow-up plan.
IPL FAQ
-
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, and Lumecca is one of the most powerful devices out there. It targets pigmentation, sun damage, redness, and broken capillaries—leaving you with clearer, more even-toned, glowy skin. Basically, it’s a filter… but in real life.
-
Lumecca is amazing for:
Sun spots + age spots
Redness + rosacea
Broken capillaries
Uneven skin tone
Overall dullness
Freckles (if you’re ready to say goodbye)
It works best on lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III), but let’s chat and see if you’re a good candidate.
-
It feels like a quick snap—like a rubber band + a flash of heat. Totally tolerable and super quick. We can cool the area as we go to keep you comfy.
-
Not really! You might be a little pink right after, but most people go back to their day no problem. Brown spots may darken temporarily and flake off over 7–10 days. We love a good skin shed.
-
Most people see improvement after 1 session, but best results usually come after 2–3. Your skin will start to look more even, bright, and clear over the next week or so.
-
It depends on what we’re treating, but typically 3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart gives chef’s kiss results. Maintenance 1–2x a year keeps your skin in check.
-
If you’re spending lots of time in the sun, we’ll probably wait. IPL + tan don’t mix (hello, risk of burns and pigmentation). But with proper sun avoidance before and after, we can still make it work in the right cases.
-
Yes—when done by trained professionals (hi again). We always do a thorough skin assessment and treatment plan to make sure it’s right for you.
-
Avoid sun exposure, self-tanner, and active skincare (like retinol or acids) for 1–2 weeks before. Show up with clean, bare skin—and bring your questions!
